This game represents a story in which could have happened only if the main character survived the attack at the end of Scarface: The Movie. The movie depicts Tony Montanas death at the end. The game shows otherwise. During the attack on Tony sent by Sosa, Tony managed to escape his death.
When Tony returns to Miami after laying low for 3 months, he discovers that the remains of his empire have been subdivided between three of his rivals: The Diaz Brothers, Nacho Contreras and Gaspar Gomez. It's up to Tony to not only to get back his turf from these cockroaches, but to also find a way to get Sosa back for trying to kill him.
