Sayonara Salvatore
$25,000
Difficulty:
Before you complete this mission. Be aware that Portland Island will be a very
dangerous place. Entry into Leone territory after this mission will be more
dangerous than Triad territory beacause the members of the Leone Family carry
shotguns which can blow your car up even if you drive past at speed! If you
want to complete the game 100 percent I stongly suggest you doing everything
you can at this point including rampages, finding hidden packages and special
vehicle missions.
You have found some new friends in the Yakuza but your current contact, Asuka,
wants proof that you no longer have any ties with the Leone Family. To prove
this she wants you to kill Salvatore Leone himself! She instructs you to get
to Luigis club where Salvatore will be leaving shortly (dont ask me how she
knows this) in 3 hours time.
This mission is regarded as some people to be very hard but it really isnt
if you follow these steps. First of all you are going to need a sniper rifle.
Hopefully you still have one left from the 'Bomb da Base' mission that 8-ball
gave to you.
If you dont, you can buy one from ammunation in newport. Use your map if you
dont know where this is.
Ok now you have a sniper rifle, you can make your way over to Portland Island.
Luigis nightclub, indicated on your radar, is where you are headed and as you
get close you will probably get a message saying 'dont hang around this area
or the mafia will see you.' Dont worry about this too much.
Across the road from Luigi's Sex Club Seven (east) is another night club where
you can get to the roof. There is a staircase in an alleyway behind this club.
Climb them to get to the roof. Run up the ramp to your left as you reach the
top of the staircase to get to the highest point and go to the north-west corner.
Do not stand on the actual ledge because Salvatores bodyguards will see you
when they come out. You should see Luigi's club across the street in front of
you.
Keep you eye on the alleyway that comes out beside the club with your sniple
rifle ready. You do not need to do anything until the bodyguards begin to come
out and the three black sentinels pull up.
Now get ready with your sniper rifle, zooming in to the alleyway entrance.
You can see on your radar the green dot representing Salvatore. As soon as Salvatore
appears, shoot him in the head. Dont shoot him anywhere else as there is a chance
you may only injure him and he will run to his car get in the car and it you
will lose him.
From this position you will probably only get two shots max at him. Make them
count!
The key to this mission is to make sure your vantage point has a good view
of the alleyway entrance. Dont panic when Salvatore appears and fire off stray
shots for the sake of it. Position your dot so that Salvatore's head passes
through it and hit the fire button as soon as hes in target.
Salvatore is dead. You now work for the Yakuza and the Mafia hate you more
than anybody.
Under Surveillance
$15,000
Difficulty:
Here you will meet Kenji. Asuka's brother who is interested in giving you work.
The FBI have positioned men at key locations around the city to spy on gang
activities. Asuka needs a quick solution to this problem so she wants you to
kill them. They are indicated on your radar as green dots.
The sniper rifle is needed for this mission.
Head for the agents in Bellville Park indicated by the most northerly dot.
The agents are standing on the little island in the middle of the boating pond.
Keep your distance and take them out with the sniper rifle.
The next agents are the hardest to get. Head south from the park towards the
west green dot. Coming up on your left you should see a black parked van in
the fore court. Hit it as hard as you can!
Hopefully you will turn it over but its not likely. If the agents dont get
out they will come after you. You need the agents to get out of the van so that
you can run them over.
Sometimes you are lucky and they get out straight away and other times they
make a relentless pursuit after you. Use your initiative and do what you can
to get them to leave their vehicle. Pushing them so that the van is facing into
a wall usually gets them to bail.
If they wreck your car, then get into another one as soon as possible. Once
they get out of the van, run them over. Dont be tempted to get out and shoot
them unless you are confident with your shooting abilities They are carrying
AK rifles which will make short work out of killing you. If all goes to plan,
you shouldnt need to get out your vehicle.
Once they are dead, you need to get to the roof of Kenji's Casino in Torrington
where the helicopter is. Use the steps at the front of the casino reach it.
As you approach the top of the staircase you will notice the agents are all
standing on balconies up the side of a skyscraper in front of you.
You need to snipe them but dont shoot them from the top of the stairs becasue
they can shoot you from this distance. Move to your left further away and take
them out one by one to complete the mission.
Paparazzi Purge
$10,000
Difficulty:
This can be tricky at first because you may lack experience in the boat. You've
used a boat before to get to staunton Island but only briefly.
Asuka is being annoyed by a snooping photographer. She has gone away while
the photographer is still at large. As usual, she wants you to make fish food
out of the photographer. The game will show you the photographer out in his
boat bobbing on the channel.
Look south at the two jetties. You will see that one of the boats has a blue
arrow pointing to it. This is a police boat fitted with a machine gun. The gun
is your only means of sinking the photographer's boat so dont be tempted to
use any other boat.
Jump in the police boat then and head off towards the photographer. You will
notice a damage bar on your screen. When this bar is full it means the photographers
boat will blow up. Head straight for him full tilt. Once you get a certain distance
away, he will make a move.
Start shooting at him as soon he starts moving and NOT BEFORE. Shooting his
boat set him off early making it difficult to keep up. Your gun will do more
damage the closer you are to him so get as many shots in as early as possible.
Use the two radio arials as a targe system and it will make him easy to hit.
The photographers boat is faster than yours so you will need to cut corners
to keep up with him. Dont worry though. He weaves every now and then so just
try and keep as straight a line as possible.
I did this mission once when the sea was very choppy. This affected his speed
more than mine and it was easy to stay close to him. I had him burning before
he got half way down the channel. So if you have trouble keeping up with him,
try doing it when the weather's rough.
Payday for Ray
$11,000
Difficulty:
Time to meet Ray Machowski. A bent cop, who helps Asuka in exchange for money.
Asuka assigns you the task of taking money to him but he is supspicious so he
wants to talk to you on the phone first.
This mission is a wild goose chase across the city between phones. Why Ray
keeps sending you to different phones is beyond me but hey, it keeps us entertained.
Better get a fast car before starting this mission. Speed is the essence.
There is a Banshee and a couple of Yakuza Stingers close to where you start
this mission so there is no need to spend ages searching for a fast car. When
pulling the car up at the Asuka mission start point, be sure to point it towards
the exit so that you can get a quick getaway.
As soon as the cutscene finishes and your back in contol the clock is ticking.
Jump in your car and get back up to the main road checking your radar on the
way to see the blue dot. It is to your left (south) so turn left when you get
up to the main road and speed along it all the way to the Callahan Bridge junction.
As you come up to this junction there are two roads in front of you. One on
the left and one on the right. The left one takes you straight to the phone
but the traffic comes towards you. The right one will take you near enough to
the phone and the traffic is traveling the same way as you. The choice is up
to you!
The phone is against a wall on the left side of the road (east) with a blue
arrow pointing it out. Get out your car and answer it as quickly as possible.
You will then be told to get to the phone in Bellville Park. Its not actually
in the Bellville park but is in the Bellville Park area on the sea front.
Drive back down towards Bellville park (north) to the Callahan Bridge Junction
again. Once there, turn left (west) and drive along the dual carriageway all
the way to the sea front and then turn right (north). Use the radar to find
the phone that is against the wall on your right some way down from the junction
you just took. Again answer the phone as quickly as you can and you will be
told to get to a phone in Liberty Campus.
Although the road ahead takes you to the raising bridge through the spiral
on-ramp drive towards it and cut across the grass to the road on the right just
before you enter the on-ramp. Follow this road all the way to the stadium and
turn right (east). Check your radar and you should be able to see the position
of the next phone in the middle of the university buildings. Answer the phone
to be told about yet another phone to be answered in Belleville Park.
Drive up the ramp just to the left (north) of the phone onto the road and turn
right to head south. Drive down this road until you get to the first set of
traffic lights and instead of continuing on towads the white muti-storey carpark,
jink right to take you past your hideout and towards Belleville Park itelf.
The last phone is at the south end of Belleville Park across the dual carriageway
on a corner. Use your radar once you get close to find it.
Once you answer this phone you can relax. You still have to go see Ray in the
public toilets in Bellville Park but the timer has stopped. Stop on the blue
marker outside the toilets to complete the mission.
If you've done nothing but Asuka's missions since you arrived on Staunton Island,
you will now have a choice of 4 people to work for now. Woohoo!
Two-Faced Tanner
$20,000
Difficulty:
GTA3 makes a dig at its aging, rival PC and Playstation game 'Driver' by handing
you a mission where you have to kill an under-cover cop named 'Tanner'. Seeing
as the lead character in Driver is called 'Tanner' and is an undercover cop
its obvious Rockstar are having a bit of a giggle. Even Asuka refers to Tanner
as a 'strangly animated cop' hehe. What will those guys at Rockstar come up
with next.
Anyway, minor insults aside, you have a mission to do and whether you love
Tanner or not you still have to kill him. Before you do anything else, go and
get the Barracks OL truck at the Army Surplus in Rockford. Its right on the
north tip of the Island if your not sure where that may be.
Why the Barracks OL? Well if you dont know all ready, barring the Tank, its
the next toughest vehicle in the game and has a hell of a lot of ramming power
and armour. It's also quick and manouverable for its size. You WILL need it
because the police are gonna be all over you here.
When you have the Barracks OL get over to Kenji's casino and stop on the blue
marker out the front. There will be a car parked in front of you. That's tanners.
As soon as you stop on the marker you will see tanner get into his car and drive
off.
Get after him but dont touch him just yet. You can follow him as long as you
like and he wont get spooked by you. As long as you dont touch him he will drive
around oblivious. Bare in mind that as soon as you touch him, he will make a
run for it and your wanted level will soar to level 4! This means you should
plan your moment of attack carefully.
Dont try to block the road in front of him. He will drive around it. A good
place to attack is near the sea front. Hit him in the sweet spot here and you
can ram him into the sea and have the mission complete before its really begun.
More likely though is that you wont be able to do this and the cops will be
on you in an instant.
This is where the Barracks OL is at an advantage because cop cars will just
bounce off of it and any traffic in the way will be smashed aside. Even buses!
Saying that. You will still want to avoid a collision because the Barracks OL
is not impregnable and with cops constantly bombarding you it will gradually
take its toll.
Ram him, push him into the wall, deflect him into the paths of other vehicles,
push him up slopes and hit him side on. Do everything you can to turn that vehicle
over or wreck it! Try to avoid fish tailing him though. All this does is spin
him round and doesnt do any real damage. It slows down the whole show and only
gives the cops more chance to do more damage to you.
Interestingly. If tanner decides to turn at a junction and drive down a certain
road, then he will always want to drive down that road even if you push him
away from it. You could push him completely across the Island and he would return
to that road just to drive down it. This helps you predict which way he is going
to go after you hit him at a junction.
Be careful when you come to a stop or are travelling slow. Police may be about
to pull you out and seeing as this is the only real way for police to stop you,
you will want to deny them this chance. Once tanner gets out his car, run him
over (if he hasnt died in the explosion or drowned in the sea) to complete the
mission.
Tanners dead but you live on. GTA3 Rules!
Kanbu Bust-out
$30,000
Difficulty:
Your first job for Kenji and although his sister, Asuka, speaks highly of you,
he is yet to be convinced. A vauable member of the Yakuza is being held in custordy
at the police station just north of the casino. Kenji wants you to break him
out.
This sounds quite daunting at first but if you follow the instructions it shouldnt
be too difficult. Make sure you know the quickest route to the respray shop
from the police station. The respray shop is behind (east) the white multi-storey
carpark in Newport.
First get yourself a police car. There is one always parked in the police station
car park. Go get in it and drive north to 8-balls garage near the respray shop.
You have to rig it with a bomb so that you can blow the Yakuza member out of
jail.
Once at the 8-Ball garage, drive in and wait for the door to reopen. Now drive
back to the police station being careful not to attract any attention from the
police yet. Once at the police station, gain access to the rear (north) police
vehicle compound by waiting at one of the gates. Once it opens make your way
into the compound and park the police vehicle on the blue marker. At this point
you can hear the sound of a man being beaten up inside the police station. Poor
Yakuza!
Arm the bomb by pressing your fire button and then get out the car and run
to a safe distance. When the bomb goes off, a hole will be blown in the wall
nearby and your wanted level will rise to 3. Dont panic. The police cars speeding
all around you cant get to you in this compound. Dont hang around though, because
a police helicopter has already been dispatched and will shoot at you if it
gets close.
Run over to the hole in the wall and you will see the Yakuza member waiting
there for you. Lead him back to the enforcer police van or the police car (the
choice is up to you) and get in. Wait until the Yakuza member gets in and then
leave the compound through the west gate. Down this way is a police bribe, which
you can use to drop your wanted level to 2 and get the helicopter off your back.
Now the police are a little bit more relaxed towards you. If you know where
there is two more police bribes you can find these to drop your wanted level
for free.
Alternatively you can wipe your wanted level by getting to the respray shop
indicated on your radar. Bare in mind that you cannot respray a police car,
so you will have to transfer to another car. To do this safely, drive to the
multi-storey carpark and find a car in there. This way you can transfer without
being hounded by the police.
Once you have eradicated the wanted level you are free to take him to the Dojo,
indicated on your radar as usual, to complete the mission.
Grand Theft Auto
$25,000
Difficulty:
A good knowledge of the city and the precise locations of the cars radically
improves your chances in this mission. So if you dont know this island that
well, get to know it better before you start this mission.
Kenji wants to repay his debt to an associate and to do this he wants you to
deliver three sports cars to a garage next to the respray shop in Newport. This
mission is timed so get your skates on and make sure you have a fast car ready
to get a head start. Position this car, next to the Kenji mission start point,
so that you can get a quick exit from the casino.
As the mission starts the timer will be ticking. Looking at your radar you will
see three purple dots (the cars to collect) and the pink dot (the garage to
take them to). Head for the southerly most purple dot. This car is in the car
park that is in the middle of a group of buildings acorss the street (south)
from the black and white domey building.
As soon as you find the car, indicated by a blue arrow, get in it. Exit the
carpark through the north entrance. The other two exits are narrow and you risk
damaging the car. If you do damage the car you will have to get it resprayed
before delivering it. Even though the respray shop is right next to delivery
garage you will waste precious seconds fixing the car.
Once you get to the area indicated by the pink dot, it may not be obvious which
garage to put it in. Its the red garage right next to the respray shop. The
door will open when you get near it. Drive the car in and leave the garage on
foot.
Now run back down the way you came and jump in the Blista people carrier parked
in the garage in front of you. You do not have time to find another fast car.
The Blista is pretty quick anyway.
Head west to the next car that is parked in the stadium carpark. If you come
towards the carpark and find the entrance is on the other side, dont mess about
driving around to the entrance. Dump the car and jump over the carpark wall
to run towards the parked infernus.
Take this as quickly as you can back to the garage again. Once delivered, get
in the Blista that has appeared in the same place you found it before (must
be a good insurance company!).
The final car is in the hospital car park in Rockford. Drive out the east entrance
of the garage area and continue east to the sea front. To left (north) and follow
the highway around to the back of the car park keeping an eye on the radar to
find the position of this car.
From the highway you wont be able to get to the car by driving. So when you
get close to it, dump the car on the road and jump over the wall to run to the
car. Jump in the Cheetah and drive out the exit to the carpark at the east end.
Be careful as the cheetah is the fastest car in the game and is very twitchy.
If you have plenty of time left then take it easy.
Once you deliver the car back to the garage, its mission complete.
When driving the sports cars in this mission, go as quickly as you can but
drive cautiously as any small collision will cause damage to your car. If you
see an obstacle ahead of you slow down and give it plenty of space. Be wary
when passing cars on double laned roads because they can change lane at an instant
for no reason. Running people over also damages the car so avoid this. Do not
attract police attention. You don't have time to shake them off.
Dont get annoyed if you dont do this first time. Depending on how far you got,
you now know the positions of the cars!
Deal Steal
$25,000
Difficulty:
The Cartel are looking to increase their influence in the city and are arranging
a deal with Yardies to help them do this. Kenji realises this must be stopped
at all costs and wants you to be the one to do it.
First you are going to need a Yardie car. Head to Newport where they are usually
cruising around the streets. They have a beige roof and a rose coloured body
and are quite big and bulky if you dont no what one looks like.
Once you find one, car jack it and drive away from the scene quickly because
any Yardies that see you do this will begin to attack you.
Now you have to pick up the contact who knows where the deal is taking place.
Use your radar to find him and once you do, let him get into the car.
You will be told the deal is being made in the hospital car park. So that is
where you should head. Drive into the carpark and stop on the blue marker that
is in front of two cartel cruisers. Dont get out of the car before you stop
on the marker as the cartel will see you and know that they have been tricked.
Once you stop on the marker the Cartel will get out of their cars and bring
a briefcase probably full of money. At this point let your contact get out,
then drive away. The Cartel now know they have been tricked
At this point you can do a number of things. You can drive around and run the
Cartel over in the car. You can get drive some distance away from them and then
snipe them or you can drive up to the road running south of the hospital and
lob grenades down on them.
Usually if you keep them after you, your contact will take a few of them out
for you. If he dies, it doesnt matter. He has no more importance in this mission.
Once all the Cartel are dead, destroy the two Cartel Cruisers by any means necessary
and pick up the briefcase.
Now all you have to do is take the briefcase back to the casino and stop on
the blue marker to comlete the mission.
Shima
$10,000
Difficulty:
Before you start this mission, make sure you have a sniper rifle with several
rounds. If you havent, get one from ammunation on Staunton.
Its time to pick up some protection money from various locations around the
city. As soon as you are in control make your way to the first briefcase due
west of the casino using your radar as guidance. Get out of the car as soon
you find it to pick it up.
Once picked up, the location of the next one is indicated to you on your radar.
Head north into Bedford Point to get it. One you arrive you will notice that
there is a Diablo member standing next to it who will start to shoot at you
when he sees you. Run him over and once he's down permanately, grab the briefcase.
Look at your radar to view the position of the final payment. Instead of a
briefcase this time, you must stop outside a rather beaten up looking grocery
store. A cutscene will explain to that a gang has trashed the place and taken
the money. The group of robbers in question are part of the Diablo gang and
you now have to punish them and retrieve the money. They are currently on portland
Island in Hepburn Heights guarding the money so make your way over using the
tunnel or bridge.
They are standing between the flats behind your old hideout but dont go anywhere
near them. Snipe all of them from a distance and when they are all down and
out grab the briefcase. Take the money back to the casino to complete the mission.
Smack Down
$10,000 + $1,000 per kill after 8th
Difficulty:
Your going to have to drive extremely quickly here so get yourself a fast car
such as the Banshee or the Cheetah.
Kenji is furious with you. It seems that despite your attempts to stop the
Cartel making friends with the Yardies have failed. The cartel are now using
the Yardies to sell their spank on the streets.
Kenji (this guy is so annoying) wants you to make it up to him by killing a
least 8 Yardie drug dealers who are walking the streets. Get in your car and
get going. There is no timer present on your screen but it's only a matter of
time before the Yardies begin disappearing off the streets.
There are no tricks to use in this mission. You simply have to kill at least
8 Yardies. Your radar points them out to you but its hard to see which ones
are closer. Some of them may appear to be grouped together on the radar but
they could be very far apart.
Do your best to find them. Keep glancing at your radar when it is safe to do
so and keep moving. When you see one it will have a blue arrow pointing to him.
Run him over at speed but try not to run other pedestrians over. You dont want
the Police on your back.
Yardies tend to be in similar places everytime you do this mission but there
are so many it is hard to remember where they are. If you find a Yardie in a
tricky place, remember him and if you have to do the mission again you can avoid
this one.
Once you have killed 8 the mission will keep going. For every extra Yardie
after the 8th you kill, you will recieve $1,000.
If you are looking at a Yardie on the radar and you are thinking, "how
do I get there?" then forget about it and go for another one. You havent
got time to look around for a Yardie if he seems to be in an odd place.
If your car is on its last legs and you see another fast car driving by, car
jack it now. If your does blow up you might not find another fast car for ages.
This is the last of your missions for Kenji, thank god.
Ray Machowski - Belleville Park
|
Silence the Sneak
$30,000
Difficulty:
Ray is a bent cop with a number of problems. One of which is a man named McCaffery
who has squealed on Ray. That is the reason why he is hiding in some toilets
in the park. Ray wants you to kill McCaffery who is under the witness protection
program across town.
Make sure you have grenades, full armour and health for this mission. Drive
towards the destination using the radar as guidance. Once you find the small
garage area a short cutscene will show you a window where the witness is suspected
to be.
What is going to happen here, is that you are going to throw a grenade through
the window. As soon as it explodes, the garage below the window will open and
out will come a car carrying the witness and two policemen on foot.
Before you throw your first grenade you will want to block the east exit to
this area with a large vehicle. The reason being that the car that emerges from
the garage will turn up here to make an escape. If you block this with something
then you should stop or at least slow the witness from escaping.
You could park a vehicle across the garage door but if you miss the window
with the grenade, it will drop down and blow up your obstruction.
Once your happy with your road blocks, park your car next to where your going
to throw the grenades. This is so you can jump in the car quick should the fleeing
car make it past your road block. You will have to chase after it in this case.
Throw your grenade and With any luck (or skill) you will get it in first time.
If not keep trying, it will go in. As soon as it goes in it will explode and
the garage will open. Drop a grenade in front of the car and hopefully it will
go off when the car is right on top of it.
If it doesnt get it. Start throwing as many grenades at the car as possible.
Dont throw a grenade and wait to see if it takes out the target. The more grenades
thrown, the better. As soon as the car starts burning, you have him, but the
witness may get out before it blows. If this is the case run him over in your
car or shoot him.
While all this is going on you will be being shot by the police on foot. Ignore
them. Your armour will hold out against their gun fire. Your focus should be
on the car.
This mission can be over in a matter of seconds from the moment you throw the
grenade through the window so be ready. Usually if the witness makes it out
onto the street I quit and try again but feel free to go after it. Its fairly
tough to stop it though.
Arms Shortage
$10,000
Difficulty:
An old war friend of Ray's called Phil is being hounded by the Cartel. Phil
runs the army surplus warehouse in Rockford which obviously contains alot of
weapons. The Cartel are planning to return today to steal weapons. Ray wants
you to help defend Phil.
Make sure you have full health and armour for this mission. You shouldnt need
it but make sure you have an uzi or rifle handy.
Ok, make your way over to the army surplus in Rockford using your radar as
guidance.
Once you get there, park your car on the blue marker to activate the cutscene.
You notice that phil has only one arm hence the title to this mission.
As soon as the cutscene finishes the Cartel will arrive shortly so you only
have a few seconds to take position. Turning around you will see the four red
containers. On top of one of them a rocket launcher has appeared. This is where
you want to be. You dont have time to do anything else so make your way to it.
To get to the rocket launcher you going to have to jump on the wall behind
(west) of it by using the brown boxes down the alleyway in front (north) of
you. Try and get up on the wall as quickly as you can. Dont try to use the green
dumpster, the wall is too high at this point.
Once on the wall carefully make your way to the rocket launcher jumping across
the gap between containers. Picking up the rocket launcher you are now in position.
Hopefully the Cartel havent arrived yet. As soon as they do, fire your rockets
at their cars. You want to blow the cars up before they get out.
If they do get out you will have to take them out by rifle or use the molotov
cocktails on the container to your right (south). After you take out the first
two cars, a third will arrive and two Cartel members spawn in the alleyway to
your left (north).
Try and take out the third car before the two Cartel on foot. Its easy to turn
round to the ones and foot and the ones in the car nip in and kill phil. The
rocket launcher has only 5 rockets but you should only need 4. One for each
Cartel Cruiser and one for the two on foot.
Once every Cartel is dead, go see phil to complete the mission. If the Cartel
didnt get anywhere near him he should be standing exactly where you spoke to
him.
Getting up to the rocket launcher is the most important part of this mission.
Once you have this weapon in your hand you can quickly take out the Cartel.
Using the standard contols in this mission, so that you can use the mouse to
target instead of the target button, makes it infinitly easier to destroy the
targets.
Dont let any Cartel get close to Phil even if it means taking some of the gunfire
yourself. As long as the Cartel stay away from him, he will stay where he is
and you are free to fire rockets or chuck Molotov Cocktails.
Evidence Dash
$10,000
Difficulty:
Ray has a friend, who seems to be fond of 'exotic' entertainment and is currently
involved in a court case. A car is carrying some embarrasing 'photographic'
evidence of this friend across town and Ray wants you to ram this car, picking
up every bit of evidence so that you can torch it in a car.
For the beginning of this mission it would be wise to use the Barracks OL found
at the Army Surplus in Rockford. Once you have it, you will be extremely difficult
to stop by the police and traffic will be mere staw bails to you.
Here is couple of things to bare in mind when doing this mission:
1. Do not ram the target vehicle into the sea. Doing this will fail the mission
as the evidence will be washing up all over the city for everybody to see. Try
not to make any contact near the sea edge as the vehicle can sometimes drive
ITSELF into the sea if you push it off its course. Most annoying.
2. The vehicle is indestructible. No matter how much you ram it or how many
grenades you may throw at it, it will remain untouched even though it may appear
to be damaged. However, if by some chance you manage to get it stuck or turned
over, the game will tell you its a decoy and respawn another one somewhere in
the city. You should now go after this new one using your radar to find it.
Once you make first contact with the vehicle, a piece of the evidence will
fall out. There are six pieces in total but you MUST pick up a piece that falls
out before you can knock another one out.
You will also notice that your wanted level has gone up to two. You can remove
this by finding bribes or use the resrpay shop but you cant respray the Barrack
OL so you will have to change car first. Dont worry about losing the evidence
car, it will continually be shown on your radar.
If you do lose your wanted level you can then get in a fast car. This way you
will be able to catch up to the target quickly. You dont need to ram the vechicle
hard, just a slight nudge will cause the evidence to fall out. The only reason
you used the Barracks OL was to protect yourself against the onslaught from
the police at the beginning.
Once you have all the packages, get the vehicle to blow up by any means necessary.
Whether it be by grenade, gunfire or generally ramming it into as many walls
as possible. Dont forget to get out before it blows up though! ;p
Paitience is a wonderful thing and if you have it, the completion of this mission
will come easily to you.
Gone Fishing
$15,000
Difficulty:
Got a sniper rifle, a grenade launcher or any other rifle? Good. Let me point
out that the sniper rifle is the best weapon for this mission. Doing this mission
the conventional way is far more difficult drawing on all your skills to stop
the person in question. So instead you are going to do it this way which is
much easier.
Ray's partner has been squealing on him and he wants you to kill him. The partner
is out fishing so he wants you to take a police boat and chase him down. You
may think at this point 'oh no I hate boats!' Dont worry you aren't going to
use one much.
Ray's partner is over at the light house on Portland Island. A dot on your
radar shows you where a police boat is moored in portland. Go find it!
A word of warning. Remember that you have killed Salvatore Leone. The Mafia
HATE YOU and will kill you if you enter their territory. Dont think you can
drive through at high speed. Some of the Mafia carry shotguns and can actually
blow up your car as you pass them. You should not have to enter Mafia territory
anyway.
Once you have found the boat at the jetty in Portland get in. Now you will
get a message saying that the snitch is at the light house and to get after
him. Dont! Get out of the boat and get back into your car. Drive to the beach
on the east side of portland, accessible behind the supermarket next to the
harbour.
Drive down the beach to the arch in the cliff. Once almost under it, a cutscene
will show you Ray's partner using an unorthodox method to fishing. When the
cutscene finishes he will be on his way. Dont panic at this point. He will sail
all around the beach area so just position yourself somewhere in the middle
of the beach and select the sniper rifle. If you are using another weapon thats
fine.
Now just target the boat and fire at it. You will notice that the damgage bar
goes up. Not every shot will cause damage but keep at it and it will eventually
explode. If it goes out of sight, dont worry. It may dart off around the harbour
area or around the cliff arch but it will come back eventually. Once it is destroyed
its mission complete.
Plaster Blaster
$10,000
Difficulty:
A tricky one this, but go get the Barracks OL truck from the Army Surplus in
Rockford as you are going to have to do a bit of ramming. Get it before you
start the mission because you wont be able to get it once the mission has started.
The witness you tried to kill in 'silence the sneak' isnt dead. He's very much
alive, if not with a few broken bones (funny, I thought I blew his head clean
off). Anyway he's going to squeal to the police on Ray if you dont stop him.
He is being transported across town, from the moment the mission starts, from
the hospital in Rockford to the police station in Torrington. The ambulence
carrying him always makes for the highway that runs south from the south-east
corner of the Pan Atlantic construction site to Kenji's casino (not the one
that goes over the top).
It may travel straight towards the highway or take a route south around the
stadium first and then back across town to the highway. Which route will take
is down to pure luck and unfortunately there is no way to tell which way its
going until you catch up with it.
You have to ram the ambulence until the damage bar is full. Then the witness
will pop out the back, rather comically covered in a full body plaster cast.
The first course of action to do is to head north towards the hospital. Keep
glancing at the radar to check the position of the Ambulence. Hopefully it will
take the route around the stadium. That way you get more time to cause damage.
Whichever way it goes try and position yourself so that you can hit the ambulence
head on as fast as you can.
At first the ambulence will be driving normally, obeying traffic laws but as
soon as you get close, it will make a break for it and you will have to get
your skates on to catch up if you haven't already smashed it to oblivion.
Dont wait for it at the side of the road and take it out with a rocket launcher.
If it explodes or falls into the sea, the game will announce it as a decoy and
release another one from the hospital. Doh!
Good places to take it out are near the stadium or on the highway. Try to avoid
damaging the ambulence in Cartel territory because you will have to destroy
the plaster cast in a second and you dont want the Cartel annoying you while
you are trying to do this.
Once you knock the witness out of the ambulence you will probably notice you
have a little bit of police attention. Finding a police bribe is not strictly
necessary because you are in the Barracks OL and the police will just bounce
off it. Drive the wheels of the truck directly over the witness' plaster cast.
The weight of it should be enough to break the plaster and kill the witness
well and truly.
As you will be told, guns have no effect. Explosives do but will you will have
to get rid of police if you want to start running around on foot. Best to just
run him over. If you dont get him the first time, dont worry he aint goin anywhere!
haha
Donald Love - Bedford Point
|
Liberator
$40,000
Difficulty:
Full health and armour are paramount here. Make sure you have a sniper rifle,
which you can get at ammunation should you need to buy one. An Uzi could helps
also here.
You will probably enjoy working for Donald Love. Not just because he talks
to you like a human being but because his missions are challenging.
Your first mission for him involves a chinese friend of his being held for
ransom by the Columbian Cartel. They are demanding money in exchange for his
life but Donald is refusing to pay. He wants you to rescue the old gentlemen
but you will need to get a Cartel Cruiser first.
You can find two Cartel Cruisers parked in the Pan Atlantic construction site.
Ocassionally they may be locked but one of them should be available. This saves
you from finding one on the streets and risking retaliation from the Cartel.
Now make your way to the place that they are keeping the chinese man using
the radar as guidance. You will have to stop outside the gate and wait for it
to open. Once it opens, drive halfway in and stop. You will see the Cartel members
patrolling about but if you keep your distance, they will not notice you.
Get out the car and take them out using the sniper rifle. Once you shoot the
first one, they will all be aware of you and run into position. Take out each
one keeping your distance from the closed garages because there are more Cartel
in each one.
Once all Cartel are dead in the Yard you have to find the Chinese man who is
being guarded in one of the closed garages. Unfortunately its random which one
he is in so you will have to guess and hope to be lucky.
The garage doors dont open until you approach them so walk up to them from
the side and when they open, move back so you are shielded by the wall. The
Cartel member inside will not run out so get some distance between you and the
garage and select your uzi. The Uzi is good because you can run and shoot at
the same time.
Strafe out and kill the Cartel member. Be absolutely sure it is a Cartel member
because one if you kill the Chinese gentlemen you will fail the mission. If
the chinese man is not in the garage you will have to try another one.
When you find the chinese man, walk up to him until you see the message on
the bottom of the screen. Now take him to one of the Cartel Cruisers. Either
the one you used to get in here or another parked in the garages.
Return him safely to Donald Love to complete the mission.
One thing you must not do when attempting this mission is use explosive weapons
or the shotgun.
If you fire them randomly into the garages you risk killing the old fella!
Waka-Gashira Wipeout
$30,000
Difficulty:
Donald Love wishes to lower real estate prices by creating a gang war. A gang
war wish he wants you to start between the Cartel and the Yakuza. To do this
you are to steal a Cartel Cruiser and kill the Waka-Gashira, Kenji, so that
it looks like a hit by the Cartel.
First get a Cartel Cruiser from the Pan Atlantic construction site if you dont
have one still from the last mission. The Cruiser must be in top condition so
be careful not to take any damage.
Once you have the cruiser its time to make your way to the roof of the white
multi-storey carpark where Kenji is waiting with his band of thugs. Drive carefully.
Any damage to the Cartel Cruiser increases your chances of failing this mission
because it will have to take gunfire.
When you enter the top level of the carpark you will see Kenji and his horde
in the cutscene. Drive up the north ramp and position your car towards Kenji.
Now here is the problem. The guys guarding Kenji ahead of you will open fire
at you as soon as you get close. Under no circumstances must you leave the vehicle
where the Yakuza can see you because you will be recognized. However if your
car begins to burn you will have to leave the car to save your life meaning
you will fail the mission.
So you have to run Kenji over as quickly as possible causing as little damage
to the car as possible.Head full speed at Kenji. Dont bother trying to run anyone
else over. Kenji is the one you want. Run him over and smash aside the Yakuza
stinger that will be in your way.
Now you will probably have 3 stars on your wanted level. This means a helicopter
is on the way and you have to leave Newport. You can take two routes. Jump off
the car park using the ramp at the south-west corner or drive down to the ground
normally. If you take the latter route, you will be able to change car and leave
newport to complete the mission.
If you decide to jump off the top, you risk landing on your roof. You would
then have to run out of Newport and with the police speeding about, there is
a good chance you will be run over. If you do land on your wheels and drive
out of Newport, you will have to dump the car to complete the mission.
The choice is up to you but I favour the less dramatic way. You must remember
to stay in the Cruiser when on the top levels of the car park. Once you go below
its alright to get back out again.
A Drop In The Ocean
$10,000
Difficulty:
This mission is made fantastically easier by following these steps. Your going
to benefit from a fast car in this mission so go find one BEFORE you start.
Donald Love has a shipment coming in that obviously is going to draw police
attention. A plane will be dropping some packages in the ocena and you are to
collect them before anybody else does.
When the mission starts you have 2 minutes to get out into the channel. The
yellow dot on your radar is the plane and the purple dot is a boat. This is
where some people go wrong. Just because its indicated on the radar, it doesn't
mean you have to use that boat. Any one will do and suggest getting one from
the jetties just east of Asuka's apartment.
Head to the place where you used to start the Asuka missions. Park your car,
at the top of the stairs that lead down to the north jetty, so that you can
get a quick getaway when you return to the car. Go down the stairs and get the
long thin boat. This one is the quickest.
Now head towards the purple dot to find a boat moored on the Portland Island
jetty. Wait here until the plane comes. When the timer begins to count down,
make sure you are following the plane. The plane starts dropping packages. Keep
picking them up until you have all six.
You will notice your wanted level increase as you pickup the packages and will
be alarmed as it rises to 5! Dont panic because you are going to take a route
that will get you to the respray shop as quickly as possible.
Get back to the Jetty that you picked up the boat from. Try not to worry about
the helicopters following you. As long as you keep moving they will not shoot
at you. Run to your car that is still parked at the top of the steps. If by
any chance that you came up the other steps to the south, you can jump into
the Banshee that should be parked there.
Now leave the are by the road that runs west up to the road next to the multi-storey
carpark. Just before you get to the carpark, dart down the alleyway that runs
down the back (east) of it. This will take you to the respray shop, up the ramp
at the end of it.
If you have never been to level 5 wanted level before you will want to know
that the FBI are now after you. FBI cars are black and are full of FBI agents
who carry AK's. They drive like nutcases and should you find yourself on the
streets in a normal car, you will find yourself quickly overwhelmed and probably
on your roof before you know it.
If you drive as quickly as you can to the respray shop using the alleyway,
then you should get to it without even coming in sight of the FBI.
Once you get the car resrpayed, simply take the packages back to Donald Love
using the radar if you cant remember where he is.
Congratulations, you now have access to Shoreside Vale. The 3rd and final island
in GTA3.
Ray Machowski - Bellville Park
|
Marked Man
$20,000
Difficulty:
Got a fast car? Good. Got a super fast car? Even better. Ray Machowski is a
marked man and needs to make his flight at the airport and you've only got 3
minutes to get him there. You've never been to Shoreside Vale before so study
the airport area on the map. Park outside the park toilets facing south, so
that you can get a quick exit from the park.
Your not going to be able to use the bridge here. There are a couple of FBI
agents guarding the entrance carrying M-16's. Regardless of what car you have,
you will be wasted before you can get on the bridge.
There are two other ways to get to Shoreside Vale within the timelimit. You
could take the road tunnel but it's a long way around and there are FBI agents
guarding the opposite end. They shouldnt hurt you too much but if your car is
wrecked when you come out of the tunnel, you risk it being blown up by the FBI
agents.
A much easier route to take is through the subway! Your not going to catch
a train, you haven't got time for that. Your going to drive through it. So head
for the subway station in Bedford Point at the south of the island.
Jump in your car and wait for Ray to get in. Now drive as quick as you can
to the subway entrance avoiding all collisons.
Once you find it, get yourself down there as quickly as possible being careful
to not trash the car too much. Get on to the tracks and drive west towards Shoreside
Vale as fast as possible. Dont worry about the train. It travels in the same
direction as you are going and there is no train coming the other way.
Get off at the first station you come to. Get yourself carefully back up to
street level, again trying not to trash the car. When you come up to the surface
the airport drop off point is behind you. Drive down the steps to the road and
follow it around to the blue marker.
Once you stop on the blue marker, Ray will then run into the airport. The mission
isnt quite over just yet but the emergency is over. You have to drive back to
Staunton to find the lockup that Ray tells you about. You can use the bridge
but there are FBI agents still at this end. The ones at the Stuanton end are
now gone.
If your car isnt too wrecked or you have another one, you will be able to make
it passed them. Alternatively you can use the subway again or take out the FBI
agents with a sniper rifle before passing them.
Once back to staunton, use the radar to find the lockup which contains money,
weapons and a bullet proof Patriot. Nice!

Grand Theft Aero
$50,000
Difficulty:
Here you find out that in 'A Drop In The Ocean' you were acting as a decoy
to take police attention away from the plane that you followed. The real package
was in the plane all along but unfortunately it was seized at the airport when
it arrived. Donald has paid off the customs officers so he wants you to go collect
the package from the airport.
A sniper rifle makes this mission easy so if you dont have one, get one from
ammunation in Newport. Full health and armour will also help but you shouldnt
need it. Any car will do.
Right first you have to drive to the airport at Shoreside Vale. Take the bridge
or tunnel, it's up to you. The destination is in a hanger behind the airport
main building. You will need to take the service road between the airport and
the carpark, smashing throught the barriers in the your way.
follow the road round to the hanger that has two vans parked in front of it.Once
you get close to the hanger, one of the vans drives passed you and out the airport.
Ignore it you do not need to take any action against it.
When you pass the entrance to the hanger you will get a message saying the
Cartel are here. Do not be tempted to drive into the hanger to run them over.
At least one of them has an M-16 which will waste your car in seconds. Instead
drive away from the hanger entrance and snipe the Cartel from a safe distance.
Once all 4 are dead you are free to enter the hanger to get in the plane.
Then package is not in the plane so you must go and investigate the van parked
outside the hanger to find out where it may be. Get over to the van to discover
that it is a Pan Lantic van meaning the package may have been taken to the construction
site back on Staunton island.
Drive over there using your radar to guide you. When you arrive you will discover
that the dot on the radar is referring to an area sectioned off by blue walls.
There are a group of Cartel guarding this area and one is guarding the on the
bottom floor of the building next to the unfinished skyscraper. By all means
run in guns firing if you are confident enough, but the easy way is to snipe
them from outside.
Use the banks of gravel around the edges and the building next to it to get
some height so that you can snipe them. You will have to move around to different
positions to get the Cartel. A soon as you kill the first one all other Cartel
will know you are after them and will take position. If you dont kill the one
in the building frist, he will run into the blue walled area.
You may not be able to get all of them but at least some of them will be dead.
You can tell if there are any left by walking around the perimeter of the blue
wall. If there are any left you will here them shouting threats at you. Run
in and take them out with an Uzi. Once they are all dead, locate the yellow
elevator within the blue walled area.
You will then see the cutscene showing you a dramatic twist in the storyline.
After it has finished, take the briefcase back to Donald Love using the radar
to help you if you need it.
Escort Service
$40,000
Difficulty:
Donald has a shipment that needs to be transported across town in a Securicar
to a warehouse in Shoreside Vale. He wants you to follow it and protect it from
anybody that tries to attack it. Following the Securicar is challenging and
fun, as you battle with the Cartel to protect it. However, if you just cant
seem to do it, there is an easy way.
Drive to the Securicar just round the corner from the start of the mission
(use radar to help you find it) and initiate it by getting close to it. Dont
stop in front of it. The driver is an idiot like most drivers in this city and
will barge his way through you, causing uneccesary damage.
Once it drives north towards the tunnel entrance, dont follow it. Take the
highway around the sea front to the raising bridge.
Before you start shouting "but it will be unprotected", following
the Securicar only increases its danger of being attacked. You may know this
already but there are only cars and people about in the area around you. Everywhere
else in the city, the streets are empty. Even the Cartel will not be around
unless you are there. This means the Securicar has a free route without any
trouble from other vehicles if you keep your distance from it.
Instead, I want you to drive over the raising bridge to Shoreside Vale. But
dont cross over to Shoreside Vale yet. Stop your car just after the Raising
part, on the bridge itself. It ends just after the central wall widens again.
Now you have to sit and watch your radar. Sometimes when you cross over to
Shoreside Vale before the Securicar does, it freezes and you have to go back
to release it again. So wait until the dot on your radar is level with the N.
Only then can you cross over to Shoreside.
Cross over the bridge and as you are coming down the other side. Notice the
tunnel exit to your left. You want to get your car on top of the tunnel exit
by driving around the back (east) of it. Position your car facing out over the
road above the exit and wait.
Moments before the Securicar exits the tunnel, two Cartel members will suddenly
appear from thin air. One on top of the tunnel exit you are on (or on top of
your car if you are parked right on the edge) and another over by the junction
to the airport. Run the one in front of you over and snipe the one at the traffic
lights.
Dont worry too much if you dont get them both. As long as there is good amount
of damage left on the meter it will survive. Once the Securicar comes out of
the tunel exit it will drive off up the hill. A Cartel Cruiser will probably
come flying out of the junction ahead to follow it but dont move! Stay where
you are and wait for the Securicar to get to its destination. It may take a
few moment but be patient. Once it does, you will see the mission complete message
and here the music.
I have done it this way several times without fail. Keep your eye on the radar
to make sure the Securicar hasn't stopped. Ocassionally it may appear to be
stopped but it is probably driving away from you or towards you. If it is stopped
you will have to go and find it but once you get close it should get going again.
Get back to your previous position as fast as you can. Be patent! It takes a
while for the Securicar to get across. :)
Decoy
$35,000
Difficulty:
Now you will get your first piece of real meat. Following on from the last
mission, Donald wants you to act as a decoy to draw the police away from the
warehouse where the Securicar took his shipment to. You have a total of 3 minutes
to keep the police busy.
It doesnt matter if you have a fast car here or not. You have to drive the
Securicar. Health and armour are not important either as you will be in the
Securicar for the entire duration of the mission.
Ok, drive over to Shoreside Vale to find the Securicar. It parked up in front
of a warehouse in the Pike Creek area. You will know when you are getting close
because there are lots of police cars and vans parked around the area waiting
for you to make a move. The police will not be on to you until you get into
the Securicar.
If you want you can take this moment to explore this area and work out a safe
route to the airport because this is where you stand more chance in this mission.
One thing to realise is that you wanted level is going to instantly rise to
6! This means the police are going to be all over you in seconds.
Strangely every time I have done this mission I expected the army to be involved
since the wanted level was maximum. I have only seen one army truck which was
used to set up a road block. I didnt even see any FBI cars.
Before you climb in the Securicar though, go find a little tarmac area next
(west) to the airport carpark. Its fenced off at one side by the road and there
are hills on the other side. These are the hills you are going to drive down
to get to the airport area. Remember this route from the Securicar and be happy
with what direction you are going to have to drive to get there.
The absolute best place to be is on one of the runways driving up and down.
Police cars cant get you here for some reason and the helicopters wont be able
to get a shot off at you if you keep driving up and down.
Once you are happy with the route, grit your teeth and jump in the Securicar.
The timer starts and your wanted level maximises. Dont hang around get out of
the carpark as quickly as possible. I recommend the normal exit over the ramp
but it's up to you. Just remember that if the Securicar lands on its roof, its
mission over!
Once out of the carpark head south towards the airport as best as you can.
You will be instantly bombarded by the police so try and avoid the collisions
and keep in a straight line. Dont try to lose them, you cant outrun them in
this slow van and you'll end up getting stuck somwhere.
Your worst enemy is gunfire. Bullets do more damage to the vehicle than collisions
so keep moving and dont let the helicopters get a shot off at you. Avoid burning
cars like the plague. They could spell instant death to you if they blow up
next to you.
If you take the tarmac area you can drive up and down it continuosly avoiding
the helicpoters and any police vehicles that follow you in. The police cant
get to behind the wall but there may be one that gets in from the hill side.
Should you get into the airport, head for the runways where you can circle
as mentioned before. Keep doing this until the timer runs out and its mission
complete.
Love's Disappearance
No money
Difficulty:
Not really a mission this even though it is counted as one in the stats. You
simply walk into Donald's garden to find nobody there and an empty box sitting
by the pond. Strange!
Bait
$35,000
Difficulty:
After interrogating Miguel a little, Asuka has found out that Catalina (your
ex who pulled the wool over your eyes) is now scared of your quest for revenge.
She has postioned three cars around Shoreside Vale who are waiting for you to
pass so that they can give chase. Asuka wants you to lead them to Pike Creek
where there are some Yakuza gunmen waiting to ambush the death squads.
Each death squad consists of 4 Cartel members sat in a Sentinel car. There
is one parked on a junction at the south of Pike Creek. One at the west blocked
tunnel and another parked in the drive way of a house in Cedar Grove.
Get the Barracks OL for this mission because speed is not necessary and toughness
is. Health and armour should also be maximised as you may need to take to foot
in this mission. If all goes well then you shouldnt need to leave your vehicle.
Take the tunnel to Shoreside Vale and come out the exit in Wichita Gardens
not the Airport. Take a route up the ramp in Wichita Gardens and past your hideout
up the twisting hill. Cross the bridge into Pike Creek. This way you wont pass
any of the death squads so that you can find the place you have to lead them
to. It is marked on the radar as the yellow dot.
Once you are happy with where it is. Head for your first death squad which
are indicated by pink dots on the radar. You can go collect each one but that
is making it harder as you will have to kill all twelve Cartel members when
you drag them back to the ambush point. It is better to get one at a time.
Go get the one at the edge of Pike creek first as this one usually is more
difficult to lead to the ambush point. When you get near the car it will begin
to follow you. Drive to the ambush point letting them follow closely you all
the way. Dont drive too fast and keep taking look behind you to check that they
are still there. Your in the Barracks OL so they wont be able to hurt you too
much. If they get stuck in a warehouse somewhere, do your best to lead them
back out. They tend to get stuck behind walls trying to get to you.
Once you lead them back to the ambush point drive right between all the Yakuza
and pull your handbrake on so that you turn round to face the entrance again.
When the Cartel drive in and pull up, they will get out their car so drive back
out towards the entrance. You dont want your Barracks to be hit in the middle
of all the gunfire. Look behind you to see whats going on. If any Cartel come
sprinting after you, run them over.
Sometimes they may get back in the car and come after you again. If thats the
case, then just lead them back to the ambush point again. Unfortunately if all
the Yakuza get killed, you will have to do the dirty work yourself but you MUST
do it at the ambush point or you will fail. So no! You cant rocket launcher
them before they chase you! ;)
There is no time limit to this mission so take your time. Dont lead them through
a miriad of obstacles because if they damage their car beyond belief and it
blows up before you get them to the ambush point, you will fail the mission.
Espresso 2 go
$40,000
Difficulty:
Miguel has poured out even more information to Asuka, who is shocked to find
that the Cartel are not just selling their spank through the Yardies but through
espresso stalls all round the city. You are ordered to destroy the stalls in
an effort to thwart the Cartel once more. You have only 8 minutes to do this
from the moment you hit the first one.
Since the Stalls are positioned on all three islands you will need to get a
fast and tough car. The Patriot is a good choice for this mission. Unless you
are extremely good or lucky, its very doubtful that you will be able to survive
the whole mission with the same car.
Now before you rush off and hit the first one, it would be a good idea to find
where they all are because they are not instantly revealed to you. Only when
you are in the same area do they appear on your radar.
Fortunately, if you cant be bothered to find them, I'll tell you where they
are. There are two on Portland. 5 on Staunton and 2 in Shoreside Vale.
Head for Staunton Island first to find one opposite (west) Salvatore Leone's
Club at the top of the hill in St Mark's. Use the double laned road when in
Mafia territory and keep to the middle of the road to reduce risk of being shot
by the Mafia patrolling the streets.
Once you find it. Ram it hard and it will burst into flames. Dont worry about
the Cartel member that runs out. He does not need to be killed and will just
waste you seconds if you try to. Once you get out of Mafia territory you can
breath a slight sigh of relief as you have done the hard part. Now its just
a case of finding the next ones quickly and replacing your car every now and
again to make sure you always have a quick one.
Quickly move to the next one in Portland Harbour and take this one out the
same way. Follow the road round to Callahan Bridge to cross it. Coming across
the bridge you should see that on your radar the nearest one is to your right.
Take the first right you come to and you will see the next stall before the
multi storey car park on your right. This one is more tricky to get as ist in
amongst some raised gardens.
Now head west to Bellville park itself. As you drive along side it you will
see on your radar that the next stall is at the south end of the park. It is
on the top of a mound. Just drive at it and hit it. Leave the park and head
into Bedford point by the road that is immediately south of the park. This will
take you towards the next stall which is outside the
Cathedral coming up on your right.
After htting this one carry on south down the road to find the next one coming
up on your left quite quickly. Got that one? Good now drive south again all
the way to the sea front and turn left (east) and follow this road all the way
round into Torrington until you come across the 7th stall sitting in a plaza
on your left.
This one is the final one on this Island so head over to Shoresdide Vale by
using the Raising Bridge. The first one in Shoreside Vale is outside the subway
entrance to your left as you come off the bridge. Be careful as there will be
a Cartel Cruiser driving aroudn this area who will attack you given the chance.
After getting this one, navigate up to the hospital in Pike Creek for the final
stall. Once this is sent burning to a crisp you will be earning another wallet
full of cash.

Difficulty:
Asuka has found out from Miguel that a shipment of spank is coming in to St
Francis Airport for the Cartel. She wants you to get over there and destroy
the plane so that you can get the spank for her.
First off. I recommend you gettting the Barracks OL for this mission as you
will be coming up against some very aggressive police. A sniper rifle will come
in very handy as well, so pick one up at ammunation if you havent already got
one. Drive to mission start point and position the truck so that you can leave
the construction site.
When you start the mission you have only 3 and a half minutes to get to the
Main runway of the Airport. To do this you have to get to the boat moored at
a jetty on the south-west corner of Staunton Island. Drive out of the construction
site and use the radar to get to the Jetty as quickly as you can.
Once you get to the foot ramp that takes you from the road down to the jetty.
Park the truck at the top and run down to the boat. You will be coming back
to the truck so leave it close to the ramp. Pick up the rocket launcher that
is on the Jetty if you need to and get into the boat as quickly as you can.
Now sail across the bay to the end of the runway at the airport as quick as
you can. Use your radar, as normal, to navigate. As you come up to the end of
the runway you may notice a Cartel member standing next to a speeder boat on
the right of the runway. Forget about him now and focus on a ramp that is on
the left side of the runway. Simply sail the boat up this ramp and let it scrape
to a hault. Get out and look at your timer.
If you have time you can use your sniper rifle to kill three Cartel members
who are guarding the ramp that takes you up onto the runway. You can then run
up to the runway and get your rocket launcher out ready to take out the plane
beside the runway. Its easier to shoot the plane when standing up by the runway.
If you cant get up there in time (usually about a minute is needed) then position
yourself with your rocket launcher down on the ledge and wait for the plane.
Unfortunately, obstructing the runway with the Cartel Cruiser does not blow
up the plane. You have to use the rocket launcher. This may take practise and
you probably wont get it first time but if you do you have to then get the packages
that are scattered about the plane wreckage.
Your wanted level should now be at 4 so helicopters will not be far away from
you. Just keep moving and pick up the packages as quickly as possible. Dont
worry about police cars. They cant get onto the runway. Once you have the packages
you need to return them to the construction site.
Run back down to the ledge where your boat is. Your not going to use the same
boat you used previously. Its too slow and the helicopter will waste if you
are unlucky. Instead get the speeder boat that is being guarded by the Cartel
member. Naturally you have to kill him first and then jump into the boat.
Speed back east across the channel to the jetty you picked up the original
boat from. Again dont waste time pulling the boat up against he jetty, simply
drive it up the end and slide it along as far as it will go. Jump out and run
up the ramp to your truck that is still parked up there.
This is the only point that the police can get you. Be careful not to get run
over and jump into the truck, immediately getting up some speed so that the
police cant pull you out. Once you are on your way, drive straight to the construction
site. Dont worry about getting your wanted level down. As soon as you finish
the mission the wanted level is wiped.
Arriving back at the construction site shows you a progression in the story
to unlock the final mission 'ransom' that you can start at Cedar Grove.
