Welcome to the GTA3 Mission Guides Section. Below you will find a list of all missions in the game. They ordered as they are available in the game.

WARNING! There is a bug in the mission structure that means that it's possible to not be able to complete all missions, which is required to achieve 100%. If you complete the mission 'Waka-Gashira Wipeout' (the mission where you kill Kenji) for Donald love before you finish all of Kenji's missions, then you obviously cannot complete all missions in the game.

Matthew 817265. For THE EXCHANGE it helps to get all 100 of the hidden packages. Go to the cartel mansion and watch the cutscene. After the cutscene grab the pistol in front of you and shoot the nearby cartel members. Next sprint to the garage to get some armour and cover from the cartel members on the roof with AK-47's. Kill them and get into the cartel crusier and leave the mansion. A cutscene should appear with a helicopter flying away. If you've gotten all 100 hidden packages, drive down the switchbacks to your hideout and collect the weapons. Get as much as you want and then head to the Cocharne Dam (Where maria is held hostage and where Catalina's chopper lands.) Once there, use the rocket launcher to destroy the first roadblock of cartel attackers. Next continue further down the dam road and take out the second cartel roadblock. (Get the nearby sniper rifle if desired.) Then proceed on foot and snipe any cartel member that you can see. After a bit, a cutscene will appear with Catalina taking off again in her chopper. As she flies over you, fire your rocket launcher at it and down it'll go. Then just proceed on, destroying any remaining vehicles and cartel members in your way. Watch you don't accidentally kill maria and watch out for the cartel member hidden behind a wall near maria. walk up to her to complete the mission.

To do THE EXCHANGE- during the cut scene you lose all your weapons. At the end of the scene you are seen downing a cartel baddie. Grab his gun quick, run round the flowerbed on your left. Kill the baddie running towards you. Run to the cruiser at the far end of the drive for cover and turn around. Kill the 2 that are running towards you from the gate. Grab their guns. run back into the garage behind you, there is fresh armour there, use the cruiser in there and head for the gate. When outside ignore the direction of the chopper in the cut scene. Turn left out of the mansion (it may help to have a decent car parked outside the gate to use as the cartel cruiser is rubbish) then left again along the road at the rear of Cedar Grove. Go to the end and turn left again and follow the road round to the right. Park in the bushes on the left. Kill the 2 cartel baddies blocking the entrance to the dam opposite the bushes. Grab their guns. Run or drive down the track. Just before the last tree on the right is a sniper rifle. Grab it, from that point kill the 2 guards high up on the towers first, then the one on the left then the 2 guarding the entrance last, thos way you have time to grab 2 guns. There is another on the right to kill. Go up the ramp in front of you to get the next one. Go forward, there is health behind the container if you need it. Go forward to the next container on the left and onto asnother cutscene. Catalina's choper takes off and an army truck heads towards you. Stay behind the container and wait for the truck to crash, also dodge the helicopter fire. Go forward and kill the next 3 guards, keep going forward and stick to the right. There's anoter 3 to kill behind the next army truck. Another tip is to fire at any of the red barrels to kill anyone near them and to stop the chopper hitting them to get you! Head for the steps, kill the guard at the top of them. Go up the steps, there will be 2 guards straight ahead- kill them, be careful not to hit Maria though! There is another guard on your left, get him them grab the rocket launcher on the left.The chopper will circle the dam, fire at it when it's close for best chance of hitting it. When it crashes, go to Maria, put your feet up and relax...

When doing ARMS SHORTAGE mission bag the rocket launcher but dont use it in this mission. Get as many good weapons as you can and find a low rooftop. Now start blasting the crap out of everything in sight! Pretty soon you will have 6 star wanted level, use the rocket launcher to blast police choppers that attack you. When the army show up jump to ground level and steal one of their tanks. Now you have the perfect vehicle for doing vigilante missions. You can also use it in the MARKED MAN mission. Simply drive over the bridge past the FBI, their bullets can't harm you! Either that or use the cheat to get the tank.
